Welcome to ComicMintAI. By accessing or using our website at www.comicmintai.com and our application at app.comicmintai.com (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

ComicMintAI provides AI-powered comic book grading reports based on CGC-style standards. Users can upload images of comic books to receive automated grading assessments, subgrade reports, and estimated resale values. ComicMintAI is not affiliated with CGC (Certified Guaranty Company) and our grades are AI-generated estimates, not official CGC certifications.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as needed. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

ComicMintAI offers various subscription plans with different grading credit allocations. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are subject to our refund policy.

5. Grading Credits

Grading credits are consumed when you submit a comic for AI grading. Unused monthly credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated. Additional credits may be purchased separately.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and AI models, are owned by ComicMintAI and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the comic book images you upload.

7. User Content

By uploading comic book images to the Service, you grant ComicMintAI a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store the images for the purpose of providing grading reports. We will not share your uploaded images with third parties except as required to operate the Service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the AI models or software
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Misrepresent AI-generated grades as official CGC grades
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ComicMintAI does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated grades. Our grading reports are estimates and should not be relied upon as definitive assessments of comic book condition or value.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMICMINTAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ComicMintAI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ComicMintAI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
