Grade-to-Money Comparison
See what the book is worth at each grade on the scale, and which of those grades clear the cost of a CGC submission.
Built for the people who live in the long boxes.
Will this book pay for its own submission?
CGC is $27–45 a book plus handling and shipping both ways. Find out which of your comics clear that bar — and which ones never will — before the box goes out.
Price it, don't guess it.
A defensible comic grading report on every listing, and a straight answer on whether slabbing it first would net you more than selling it raw.
Raw or slabbed?
See both numbers side by side — what the book fetches raw today against what it fetches slabbed, minus the fee.
Route a whole collection.
Sort a long box by expected net return, then send only the books that clear their own break-even grade.
Skip the costly misfires.
Find out which books are NO-GO before the box goes out, not 45 days after it comes back.
Priced against one wasted submission.
Pay once, per decision. No subscription, and nothing to cancel — because deciding whether to slab a book is something you do a few times a year, not every month.

Condition Checker FAQ
What defects can the condition checker detect?
Our AI detects over 50 types of defects including creases, tears, stains, foxing, spine stress, spine rolls, missing pieces, color fading, water damage, writing, stamps, tape, and more.
How do I get the best condition check results?
Take a clear, well-lit photo from directly above your comic against a plain background. Include the full cover and edges. For the most thorough check, upload photos of the front cover, back cover, and spine.
Is the condition check the same as a grade?
A condition check catalogues the specific defects; the grade band summarises them. You get both, plus the part that matters financially — what those defects cost you in value, and whether what is left still justifies a CGC submission.
Can I check the condition of bagged and boarded comics?
For accurate results, we recommend removing the bag and board before photographing. Plastic bags can create glare and distortion that may affect the AI's analysis.
How detailed is the condition report?
Each report includes an overall condition grade, individual scores for cover, spine, and pages, a list of detected defects with severity ratings, and an annotated visual showing defect locations on your comic.
Know What the Condition Costs You
Every defect the checker finds moves the grade, and the grade decides whether the submission pays. Get both halves of the answer.
