Pricing FAQ
How much does ComicMintAI cost?
Checking a book is free — you get a grade band with a confidence level, no card and no account. The full submission verdict is a one-time $19 for a single book, $39 for up to ten ranked by expected net return, or $79 to triage up to fifty. There is no subscription.
Is there a free option?
Yes, and it needs no card. The free look returns a grade band and how confident the model is, which proves the system can read your book. It withholds the part that costs money to get wrong: the comps, the correct CGC tier fee, and the verdict on whether submitting pays.
What do I actually get for $19?
The verdict — GO, NO-GO or PRESS FIRST — with the expected dollar outcome beside it, and the arithmetic that produced it: raw comp, slabbed comp at your predicted band, the correct tier fee, handling and shipping, and the net. Plus subgrades, a defect map, and what happens if the book grades half a point under.
Do I need an account to buy?
No. Verdict purchases use guest checkout — email and payment, nothing else. You can create an account afterwards if you want your reports kept together, but it is never required before paying.
Is it a subscription? Does it renew?
No. Every verdict is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel. Deciding whether to slab a book is something most collectors do a few times a year, so a monthly bill is the wrong shape for it. Monthly Dealer plans exist for shops and high-volume resellers.
How does this compare to CGC pricing?
CGC runs roughly $27–45 per book at common tiers, plus about $5 handling and shipping both ways, and takes around 45 days. A $19 verdict is there to stop you spending that on a book that will not earn it back.
